Led by Chef & Sommelier Robert Barrett, guests can enjoy a new level of culinary excellence during their stay. As a child, Chef Robert was captivated by the world of food, leading up to his first job as as busboy at Carmen’s Restaurant in Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton. After receiving his Hospitality Management degree at Drexel, Robert honed his skills at The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia, Hotel DuPont, and the Philadelphia Art Museum.
His dedicated to the broader world of gastronomy led him to become a Certified Sommolier, even traveling to France’s Loire Valley where he learned about winemaking and new tastes for French cuisine.
We are proud to have Robert on our team as he creates dishes that are both innovative and nourishing for our guests.

Our home is easily accessible to the major highways and rail stations in the area and is just a 25 minute drive from the Philadelphia International Airport.

“Absolutely amazing experience staying in this B&B. The owners were accommodating and even provided a tour of the home for us while we stayed. We received a “Sanitation” kit which included masks, sanitizer, gloves, etc for our use. Home cooked breakfast was delightful and better than you would get at any diner in the area (we know, we’ve been to most of them).

“Candy and I had a delightful evening sitting on the balcony sipping our favorite libation. Candy was impressed with the tiled bathroom. The bed was comfortable.
